So, to the...two people who even care that I am posting a journal entry documenting my reemergence from a several month hiatus, I am here to tell you uh, both, that I live! I haven't had much time to really draw anything, since I was busy with school and all, but now that I have this very very long summer upon me, I think I'll be doing a lot more projects, to keep myself from kersploding of boredom and all.

Style Change

I also wanted to note on here that I am in the middle of a style change, which is one of the main reasons why I haven't been posting much art up here. Since I am going through this shift, most of the stuff I've been drawing quite frankly sucks and are just not worth putting up here. I am trying to veer from my manga-inspired drawings and go more toward a cartoony-like realism. I'm still trying to find my style, so to speak, so my art will probably be experimental and inconsistent with each other and all that rot.

But, to commemorate my break from hiatus (haha, break, hiatus, they're synonyms and when placed together in a sentence like that it's kinda odd---leave me alone, I'm easily amused), I will post up two headshots I've worked on the last few days. I'm primarily focusing on head shots and head sketches for now, until I get used to my style, and then I may return to things below the head and clothing and all that other stuff I'm pretty terrible at and need to work on, as well.

And eeyup, this journal is getting quite ranty. I pulled an all nighter drawing (I hate when inspiration comes best to you when you wanna freakin' go to bed), but I'm glad I did because I had a lot of fun, so that's what matters.

And seeing as I'm practically talking to myself, I'm just gonna sign out. Hopefully, I will be more active this summer and have more stuff to post and share, and by posting and sharing I hope more people will come and bring me good tidings and stay around a while and feed me cookies. Because I like cookies. And people who say "Hi". Ok, I'm gonna go f'realz now. Ta-ta! (Haha, that's such a prudish way of saying goodbye. It amuses me).
